YUM mirrors:
The provisions for mirroring the YUM repository are already in place in blueonyx-yumconf-1.0.0-3.i386.rpm and later versions of it.
The text file on www.blueonyx.it defines which mirrors are active and the mirror.php in the same directory provides the logic to complete the URLs to the respective path, depending on which repository needs to be served. Additionally mirror.php feeds a MySQL databank with the anonymized IP address of the query (if the user agent matches a YUM update process) and a timestamp, which then increments a usage counter based on the unique IPs that asked for updates. This ain't perfect, but gives us some ideas about how many BlueOnyx servers are out there.
RSYNCd is configured on devel.blueonyx.it, so pulling the YUM repository by RSYNC is possible.
Example syntax:
rsync -rlptDqzH --delete devel.blueonyx.it::pub /your/path/

Pootle webfrontent: http://bluequartzmirror.smd.net:8080/projects/bluequartz_5106r/
I updated it with the latest locales from 5106R and aside from Japanese we're still good as of today (2008/11/20). Another volunteer for French also signed up today, so we may see some progress there. Still need to set up Pootle over here.
